Any recommendations ffor a professional cat groomer PLEASE! I have an adult, spayed long haired cat who loves to lick herself into matt-balls. I've lost control with my efforts to maintain her otherwise beautiful coat. We live in Seattle. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 lbs

If she has a lot of matts, then it's possible that she will, as they can be quite painful to remove. If this is the case, consider talking to your veterinarian, as sedation can be performed safely in his/her office. Most vets will do a "shave-down" on long-haired cats, although it's likely a professional groomer will do a more artistic job.
