Hello, I have a male Yorkie. About an year old. Since yesterday he started acting strange. He would come to me as if he is scared and then I noticed he is swallowing as if he wants to vomit. His whole body was shivering. It has never stopped since yesterday. He swallows continously and it semms like he got pain. What should we do or what can we try to make him better?

Hello. I am sorry that Cooper is having this issue. Swallowing repeatedly can be a sign of nausea (feeling sick), and this could be due to something stuck in his esophagus (very life-threatening if not treated ASAP), stomach, or an upset stomach or gastritis. I would suggest bringing him to a vet right away, and having x-rays of his chest and abdomen. Good luck with Cooper.
