What is this red, bumpy mark on my dog's skin and what should I do?

There's a red mark with a bump in the middle of it...the red mark isn't perfectly round and it's about 1/2 inch please help. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | neutered | 14 lbs

What you have described sounds like a skin pustule which can be seen with infection or even secondary to an insect bite. If you only notice one, I would not worry. If you notice multiple pustules, Bentley may have a skin infection. Follow up with your veterinarian if notice multiple pustules.
