My dog has a wound after removing a bug. How to prevent infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 1 year and 6 months old | 25 lbs

My dog Daisy she has got a big bug on her neck area but while removing that blood comes out and a small wound is opened what can I do to prevent wound

A check up, appropriate disinfection and antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. Disinfection can eventually be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid scratching.
