Do dogs get tired of eating the same food! I have to mixed chihuahuas Luna and fiffy, and they have been eating wellness small breed for quite some time but now they don't seem so interested in it. Should I switch ? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 10 lbs

No, dogs typically do not get tired of the same food; in fact, they can eat the same food for their entire lives, moving to a senior version of the food when they are older. I never change my dogs' food, and they are happy to eat it every day. You can try a different brand if you'd like however, but make sure to make the switch slowly to avoid GI upset. Start by mixing together the old food and the new food, and over the course to two weeks, increase the amount of new food and decrease the amount of old food until they are eating the new food only.
