Pls help me my dog pug had a heavy hair fall and 4 ticks . Give me some home natural remedies. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 12 lbs

Poor Blessy. There are no home remedies for either ticks or loss of hair I'm afraid. It is likely that the ticks are causing the hair loss. I can however recommend some good quality tick prevention for her, such as: Preventic collar, Seresto collar (tick and flea preventative, lasts 8 months), or the new product Simparica. These all require a prescription from your veterinarian. The only over the counter product I recommend is Advantix. I would not recommend any flea/rock shampoo's because they don't tend to work and only dry out the skin. If you see live ticks on Blessy right now you can remove them with tweezers, making sure to get the head out OR if you don't feel comfortable you can let your local vet do this for you. Poor girl. I hope you get some resolve soon for Blessy's tick problem. Take care and best of luck.
