My dog has a bump that popped with pus. Is it a bee sting? Call vet?

Hi, my sister found a bump on her dog. She had me look at it. In the process of trying to look at it, (it had been scabbed over) the scab came off. When trying to look closer to see what it was, some pus came out. It was about the amount a large pimple would conatatin. I also saw something that looked like a small black dot which makes me think that perhaps it was a bee sting. Is this something I should contact my regular vet about?

I would clean the area with warm water to start over the weekend and monitor the spot. If it is getting bigger, swelling , or bothering Meadow then I would contact your vet on Monday. It may just be a little pimple or cyst, in which case it could remain flat and heal over completely. If this is the case you don't have to worry about it!
