My Pug's eye is suddenly milky and he's squinting. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 33.8 lbs

My Pug got up this morning his eyes were fine. However, now his left eye he is squinting and it is a milky color. What could it be?

These could be a signs of a corneal ulceration. I would recommend an immediate check up as Pugs are particularly predisposed to a type of ulcer called ''melting ulcer'', which is a particularly nasty type and could deteriorate very rapidly.
