Hi, I have found a stray 6 months ago. At first he had blood in his stool. Our vet dewormed him and said he has corona virus. 2 months ago, he was sneezing with breathing problems, third eyelid showing in one eye and lethargy. He was treated with antibiotics for 3 days and was okay. Now he has his third eyelids showing with fever. He does not have diarrhea but watery and very smelly stool. Is this about Corona? What else can it be?

The third eyelid showing is usually a general sign of gastrointestinal disorder in cats, it could be an infection, worms or some other chronic intestinal disease. the watery stools is also a sign of gastrointestinal disorder. Corona virus could be the cause although in my opinion it's not likely. i would suggest having a test for Giardia done (an intestinal parasite) and ask your vet to put him on an hypoallergenic food as well. he will also need another course of antibiotics.

Yes it could be again coronavirus and possibly secondary bacterial infection. The systemic signs (fever) mean that more aggressive treatment is needed as infection is more severe than jut gastrointestinal. A longer course of antibiotics is needed and fecal culture to identify other infections is recommended.
