Why does my dog push my phone and watch off the bed and bury them?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 102.5 lbs

Every time my dog is near any electronic devices such as my cells or watch she pushes them off the bed and buries them. Why is this?

Bonnie Blue Bell sounds like mischievous one! I couldn't say for sure why she is doing this honestly. If she is only doing this when they are vibrating or ringing, my suspicion would be that the noise or sound is interesting (or bothersome to her) in some fashion. As long as she isn't trying to chew or eat the objects, I don't think you need to be terribly worried about this other than that it might be sort of annoying. The best thing you can do is keep your electronics a little closer to you to prevent this type of behavior from occurring. Hopefully in time, she will stop doing this type of thing on her own.
