Hello. My dog had a recurring nose bleed. I found out an ice pack on the bridge would stop it which I did but now he has dried up blood in his nostril co.nstricting his breathing and smell. I can't see a vet until this weekend. Is there any safe way at home to remove or alleviate at least some of it so he vsn breathe?

Oh no, poor Jack! I'm glad to hear the bleeding stopped with the ice pack. You can try to gently use a warm wet washcloth to wipe away as much external discharge as possible. If Jack is a pretty tolerant dog, you can also try using a cotton swab with warm water to gently clean just inside of his nostrils. I hope that all goes well for Jack!
