My kitten's mom hurts her. Can I keep and care for a 1-month-old?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 1 month and 6 days old | 0.7716 lbs

My kitten is one month old and she is a stray cat.. Most of the time my kitten stays with me but not with her mother because her mother cat tries to hurt and bite my kitten... Her mother rarely feeds her kitten her milk.. What should i do... My kitten doesn't stays with her mother.. Should i keep the kitten with me?

If the kitten is this old you can introduce softened kitten food or canned kitten food and it will be ok away from mom. Make sure you schedule a vet visit to get her dewormed and checked out. She needs her first vaccines at 8 weeks.
