Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 months and 14 days old | 10 lbs
My cat has never been formally diagnosed, but we have done a lot of research on his symptoms. We believe he has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia. He had a hard time walking as a kitten. Now at 10 months old, he is very clumsy. He severely twitches in his sleep. We always hear him falling off furnature. He gallops around the house. His steps are very exagerated, almost like hes marching. He is very skiddish, he has a slight wobble sometimes. Are any other issues he could have that ISNT CH?

Hello. I am sorry that Little Brother has these issues. It sounds like it very well may be CH, however without official testing you can't know for sure. It sounds like he is coping well. Many viruses can cause developmental disease in cats, and can affect the brain while developing. There are also viruses and bacteria and parasites that can affect the brain, however if this has been for the past 10 months and he isn't getting worse it is unlikely to be this. If he is eating/drinking/happy then I would suggest just continuing to care for him as you have been doing. I would recommend keeping him as an indoor only cat, as he may hurt himself outside. Good luck with him!
