My old dog smells bad after a bath. What's causing the recurring odor?

Hi i have a blacklab mix with great dain and she is very old. I am worried about her because i dont want her to get a heat stroke because its hot outside. I have was told that mixing bacon soda and the shampoo i use for her together helps with skin odors and i tried that already but it didnt work. I was hoping if you could tell me or give me some tips to help because every time i wash her after she drys she stinks again. I wanted to ask if you can help me or give me some tips please??

Lucy could be smelling because she has a skin infection caused by yeast. My recommendation would be to have her seen by a vet. If she does have a skin infection, the vet can prescribe medication to clear it up so you can bring her inside. It's great that you are bringing her inside so she doesn't get heat stroke!
