Should I move my cat and kittens from under the hot trailer?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

Its 88° here and shadow and her kitten(s) inside the insulation under our trailer. I know someone said she will move it/them if she feels she should but this is her first time as a mommy and I would hate for anything to happen to her or the kitten(s). Should I try to get them out?

If you move them, she may move them back or somewhere else that you may not be able to monitor her. Provide plenty of fresh water for her. Feed her kitten food until the litter is weaned. Leave bowls close to her so she won't have to go far from her litter.
