Dog has bleeding lump. What to do while saving for surgery costs?

My 10 yrs old female dog has a bb size node on 1 teet.. which is secreting blood.. I am trying to raise enough money for the surgery.. but not sure how long it will take me to raise 1000.00..Is there any over the counter vitamins or treatment I can give her while I get.money together.. special diets ect? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 9 years and 6 months old | 21 lbs

I'm sorry Hailey Rae having a node on her nipple! Unfortunately there isn't anything you can give her OTC that will help with this node, but I can give you a number of resources that may help you afford the surgery sooner. You can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. They are a good resource for information.  Brown Dog Foundation provides funding to families with a sick pet that would likely respond to treatment, but due to circumstances, there is not enough money immediately available to pay. IMOM is dedicated to insure that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially challenged.
