My 8-week puppy overate wet food, threw up, and is sleepy. Is he okay?

i gave Peewee wet dog food. it seems he may have over ate. he got very sleepy and proceeded to sleep a little. then he threw up a little bit. he is still sleeping but isn't whining so much. is he okay? should i worry? he is a 8 week old chihuahua and jack russell mix. thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 lbs

First of all, Peewee is beyond adorable! Overeating can certainly lead to one episode of vomiting followed by a good nap. If Peewee wakes up from his nap and is acting normally without further vomiting, there is likely no need for concern. However, if he seems uncomfortable, vomits more, or is lethargic, he may need to be evaluated by his vet. Odds are that he will be just fine after a big dinner! :-)
