Hi! My dog macy(labradoodle) has been gnawing on her paw fr about a month now. it has gotten significantly worse. she wont let me try to check it out without getting aggressive which is very very rare for her. she limps only after a walk. which we have now stopped walking her bc of this. what do you think is going on?

Common causes include foreign body (splinter), injury, infection (bacterial or fungal) and allergies. Place an e-collar (cone) on Macy to prevent further licking or chewing. Have her examined by your veterinarian to diagnose the underlying cause. If the skin is broken, she is at risk for infection and may require antibiotics.
