Why is my dog's poop watery after eating a human food cupcake?

Yesterday I fed my dog the recipe attached below. Just one cupcake of the recipe and today he is pooping very wet and watery. My dog is on a strict no human food, dry kibble only diet and this is the first time we have have him anything like this. What could be causing the change in poo? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 7 lbs

That cake looks so yummy for dogs! Good on you for having Ollie on a strict no human food diet, that is excellent. Because he's never had anything like that cupcake before, that will probably be the cause of his diarrhea. Sudden changes in diet can lead to this diarrhea. I can give you a home remedy to help with Ollie's diarrhea, but it does have some human food as the bland diet. When dog's need a bland diet for GI upset, it's fine to give him this human food. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. Good luck, I hope this helps :-)
