Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 28 days old | 20 lbs
7 month boxer with diarrhea for 36 hours. Vomited once last night. Eating, drinking, and temperament normal. Last two time she had diarrhea it was only a little and stringy followed by some drops of blood. At the onset of the diarrhea the amount of poop was normal and contained no blood but was loose. Has been getting progressively losser and less poop each time. What can I do? Does she need to go to the emergency vet?

I'm sorry Cracker isn't doing well at all! When a dog has been having diarrhea for more than 24 hours, it is time to see the vet; that being said, because she is eating and drinking as well as behaving normally, it can wait until the morning. Keep an eye on Cracker tonight, and if she starts vomiting again, continues to have bloody diarrhea, stops eating, and/or becomes very lethargic, then I would have her seen by an ER vet. Good luck, I hope this helps :-)
