There was a study performed to test the efficacy of cabergoline on the prevention of pregnancy in rats on different times during the gestation period. The study went all the way out until 16 days. Even at 16 days, it still showed some effectiveness in preventing implantation, but not nearly as effective when given at earlier times during gestation.
