Any way to get invermectin orally to a squirrel with mange? It loves peanuts. What would be the dose?

I can't really give out doses on here due to legal reasons but you should have no problem finding a dose for Ivermectin in any one of a veterinary pharmaceutical book on online reference. Just look under the rodent section and you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what you should be giving. Depending on how old the squirrel is and how crazy it is getting Ivermectin into it will either be an extremely difficult task or one that is rather easy. You have to kind of slip the syringe into the corner of the mouth and then squirt it in pretty quickly. Just make sure that you have an accurate weight on the squirrel before giving it any medications as overdosing a small animal like that is pretty easy to do.
