Hi today we found a small bold patch on my kittens wrist with a lump on it, which looks like a verruca. Thought it may be stung by a wasp or some other insect as she keeps chasing them. The affected area is at the lower side of her wrist. Does any one know what that might be? She is 8 months old now.

It is hard to tell from the picture but it may be the accessory carpal pad - check to see if there is a similar lump on the opposite leg? The bald patch may be due to excessive licking due to skin irritation or possibly ringworm

This bump on Roxy could be a benign tumor such as a papilloma (wart). If it was due to an insect sting, I would expect the area to be red and irritated from the sting itself. I would still have it checked out by a vet on Monday. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. The vet can let you know if any treatment is needed for it, and what that treatment may be.
