My dog is vomiting after Cabergoline. Are these side effects?

what can cabaser cabergoline do if its not a pseudo pregnancy? her second night on them and vomited 3 times the first night (tablet with food) and vomited once so far tonight (tablet 30-40mins after food). sits there shaking/shivering and licking lips before she vomits. first night she vomited 2 hours after tablet & food again 2 hours later then again 3 hours later. tonight she vomited 1 hour after tablet. Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old

I don't believe there have been any studies done specifically into the side effects of Cabergoline in dogs. However, the symptoms you are stating are consistent with known and frequent side effects of the drug in humans. I don't have much experience with this drug in particular, but in general when clients tell me that a drug I have prescribed to their pet is causing repeated negative side effects, my advise would be to stop administering it and find something different to use. Repeated vomiting is not a mild side effect, so this would definitely be my advise in regards to this, if the clinical signs started right after this medication was commenced.
