My vet said eye/nose for chicken vaccine. Can I give it by mouth?

I made my hen for brooding and now all the chicks have came,after a week my vet said me to give a vaccine to protect it from New castle disease,he said me to give lasota vaccine in the chickens eye or in its nose.Can I give it in its mouth???

There are all different types of vaccines for chickens developed by many different companies. These companies engineer them in particular ways so that they will only be absorbed effectively via certain delivery routes. If your veterinarian informed you that they should be administered a certain route, I would follow those directions. If you feel that you can only give it orally, I would ask and see if there is another vaccine available that is labeled for this delivery route. Otherwise, ask him if he is has ever given this one orally and had any problems.
