My chinchilla ate plastic from a trash bag. Should I be worried?

Hi, Cocoa Puffs has eaten a trash bag... or tore it apart I'm not sure if he ate any of it. It was just the corner of it he pulled it into his cage... if he did eat any is he going to be ok? Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male | unneutered

What a cute chin name! He probably just chewed on the plastic and didn't swallow any. Chins are great at chewing on all kinds of naughty things. Make sure he is eating/drinking normally and passing normal pellets, and he is likely just fine. Also, always have fresh hay available and safe tree branches to chew on to keep his teeth in good condition.
