My female pom had fever for three days and on the fourth she passed away. The vet who was treating her was giving medicines only for symptoms. Ti include liquid crocine and iron syrup. Tipsy ate little and drank also little. We had to force milk and water down her throat . About two cups a day. She would not eat. Same symptoms bingo suffered for nine days and became okay. But tipsy passed away on 24 april. With a tongue that had turned blue. Could it hv been lack of electrolytes.

I am so sorry about Tipsy! There is no way to know what she was suffering from without having seen her. She did not likely die because of lack of electrolytes. She may have had an infectious disease, or cancer, or some kind of toxin exposure.
