My 10-year-old dog is aggressive towards strangers. What should I do?

My 10 year old dog seems to hate everyone but me and my father. Im not sure what to do. I don't want to leave him behind when I leave and it's taken him 2 and a half years to let myou boyfriend pet him and play. If you have any advice on what to do about his aggressive behavior please help. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | 121 lbs

I would have Harley seen by a professional behavioral expert. Aggressive dogs can be very difficult and dangerous to work with, and I never recommend owners take their training upon themselves. There's too much of a risk the owner could be hurt, especially with a dog as large as him. The trainer can work with you and Harley on his aggressive behaviors. I would speak to your vet about a referral to a behavioral expert.
