My puppy has some kind of bug stuck to her leg. What do I do? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 24 days old | 8.6 lbs

Marquessa has a tick on her leg! It isn't the end of the world, but it should be removed as soon as you get a chance. You have two options in terms of removal. You can either go to a pet store and by a commercial device like the tick tornado or tick twister. Alternatively, you can use something like hemostats or tweezers, and try to grab as close to the tick's base and pull. This latter method doesn't always work quite as well, and can occasionally leave a piece of the tick behind. I would suggest spending the few bucks on the commercial product as they work very well. I would also recommend getting your puppy on a flea / tick preventative medication as soon as possible. Hope this helps.
