Help! My 3-month-old puppy is nipping, barking, and not listening.

Question

This is additional information to my last question. We are first time dog owners so this all could just be our puppy teething and playing. Pilot is nipping at our arms, ankles, clothes when we try to pet or play with him, he is barking and whining more for attention. He doesn't follow our commands to stop, he just barks or nips at us. We are planning on taking him to obedience classes soon. He is 3 1/2 months old! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 months and 18 days old | 104 lbs

Pilot sounds like your average, rambunctious and mischievous puppy dog. All of what you are describing are perfectly normal puppy behaviors. With proper training, enrichment, and patience on your part, Pilot should become a well-adjusted adult dog in time. Beginning obedience class at this early of an age might be a little frustrating, but I still think it is a great idea as long as the trainer is patient as well. The dog trainer should be able to provide you with many training techniques and ideas on how to make your dog most suitable for your own situation. Good luck!!
