Hello. I know if this is a threat to my cat / if he's sick but I have a Turkish Angora kitten and he has this weird black circle or ring around his genital area and I don't know what it is. He licks it continuously sometimes. Please help :/

I'm sorry to hear that Snow has been so itchy! Possible causes of his skin lesion may be related to a skin infection (often due to underlying allergies), ringworm or mange. Excessive licking can cause bacterial skin infections to develop and require antibiotics for treatment. At this point, your best bet is to take Snow to his vet for an exam, as he may need further diagnostics to determine the cause of his skin lesion. From there, your vet will be able to prescribe any necessary medications. Please be aware that issues such as ringworm or sarcoptic mange (scabies) can be transmitted to other animals or humans. I hope that Snow is on the mend soon!
