My puppy bit me, no bleeding. Do I need a rabies shot for myself?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 3 months and 9 days old | 3 lbs

My 3 month and 10 days puppy bite me yesterday and there is no bleeding .... should I recommended anti rabies injection or not??

Rabies is transferred via bites, but given there was no bleeding when Mercy bit you, he likely didn't bite you deep enough to cause a risk. In addition, if he did have rabies, you would see signs of it (check out this link below for rabies signs in dogs), and if you don't see any signs of it then he doesn't have it.     It is very rare for a puppy that she to have rabies. If the puppy is showing signs of rabies (aggression, drooling, and other neuro signs) then I would contact your doctor immediately. If not then I would wash the bite wound thoroughly with some soap and hot water. It is common for the skin to itch after getting bit. If the bite mark looks red or swollen, then I would contact your doctor to see if your husband needs antibiotics.
