Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 40 lbs
My do has developed a very mild rash on her stomach/nipples. I want to treat this before it gets worse

It might be a very mild allergic reaction, at this point i do not think it requires treatment. if it gets worse or if she is very itchy then you will have to take her to the vet in order to get some allergy meds.

I would watch this for a day or two. If it isn't getting better, if it spreads, or if Hazel has itching or any other symptoms, then she should get examined by a vet. It may be caused by flea bites, allergies, or a skin infection.

A rash is often a sign of an allergy, mites or bacterial infection. I do not recommend to use your medication as it is not meant to be ingested and may have toxicity issues if consumed in large enough quantities. The fastest and surest method to get the rash cleared is to figure out the underlying cause and a trip to the veterinarian is needed for that. You can try starting him on an omega 3 fatty acid for dogs, changing the diet to Nutro or Royal Canin as these diets are aimed at skin health, and washing the areas daily with soap (rinse well). However, if it is an allergy or mites, the problem will continue until the allergen is removed. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
