Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 16 years old | 23 lbs
Our yard was sprayed by the "bug man" earlier this afternoon (at least five hours ago). We aren't 100% sure where he sprayed. I took my jack Russell out to use the restroom in an area that looked dry (some of the dirt in the yard looked wet). We were only outside for less than four minutes, and I made sure she didn't eat anything and stayed in the dry area. I am still sort of worried though. Is there anything I should do or look for?

Signs of potential toxicity in pets can include drooling, shaking, tremors, seizure, coma, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, changes to the pupils and more. Contact issues with pesticides can include issues such as redness, itching, or swelling at the site of contact. If you suspect Emma may have come into contact with these materials, you can use a washcloth or pet wipe to gently wipe down her paws and belly to remove any possible contact on them. If you suspect toxicity or see symptoms of illness, seeking veterinary care is best.
