My dog has a thin fur patch on his side, but it's not itchy or red.

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 41.8 lbs

How come my dog has a weird thin hair patch on his side? My dog has a med-small patch of thin hair. Its not coming out when pulled but you can see his skin if twist but it looks like a lighter patch of fur. Not sure what this is. When i touch it theres jist smooth healthy skin, not red or hurtful to him nor its scapy

Hi! It's possible that Poseidon may be showing signs or symptoms of an underlying allergy or systemic disfunction. You'll wan to take into account any changes in your pets environment to rule out any allergy. If you haven't noticed anything different, you'll want to visit your local Veterinarian and request a CBC and Blood Panel. There are several conditions and diseases that can cause hair loss/thinning in our pets.
