Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 55 lbs
Monday he ate a lot of grass. The next day he had diarrhea with grass in it but it didn't seem like all of the grass. He didn't poo yesterday. today he tried to vomit but nothing came up which was alarming but only did it once. His last meal was at 6 this morning so I was hoping that's why. I took him out and he finally did poop and it was solid. He's been eating and drinking fine. He eats 2 2 1/2 cups of prescription food. What could've caused the dry heaving could he be blocked up from grass?

It sounds like you're doing a great job caring for Spock! It's possible that might be experiencing some digestive discomfort that is causing him to look for things that might help to soothe his stomach. Maybe something like acid reflux. Because Spock is currently on a prescription diet, I highly recommending sticking with it unless you notice any vomiting or diarrhea. Then, you'll want to switch to a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice until the illness subsides. For now, You'll want to keep an eye on him and offer plenty of fresh drinking water. You might consider splitting his food into two separate feedings. This will help steady the stomach throughout the day. As long as you see a bowel movement every couple of days everything should be ok. If you do notice constipation, your doctor may change his diet accordingly.
