My vaccinated Yorkie mix has parvo after surgery. Will she survive?

Question

I have a four year old teacup yorkie mix. They did emergency surgery for pyometra. It turned out she didn't have that ,but have parvo!! She has been vaccinated. What is her chance for survival?? Keep in mind she just had unnessairy surgery. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 3 years and 5 months old | 4.8 lbs

Poor Noel! If she is in the hospital on IV fluids and supportive care, she will likely do well in my experience, even as she just had surgery. Some cases of Parvovirus are mild and require just a day or so on fluids to recover, and some dogs need to be hospitalized for 1-2 weeks. Hopefully she does great!
