Dog is a 8year male.a month ago he swallowed a toy caused him to vomit for a full day,so i took him to the vet not knowing the issue b/c he was gagging and vomiting. The vet said he had kennel cough, prescribed pain killers,antibiotics. When i began to feed him the next day(because i stopped feeding him for day 1)he vomited a large piece of a toy.I continued to give him the antibiotics.He stopped vomitting and coughing.now for 3days he has drops of blood from his penis. Have Cholo rechecked by your veterinarian. Abdominal x-rays or ultrasound should be done to check for more bits of toy in his GI tract. More importantly, an x-ray may show bladder or kidney stones. Blood work and a urinalysis should also be submitted to assess major organ function and to rule out urinary tract infection.
