My female almost 2 year old cat Almond has a round red spot the size of a quarter up behind her front leg where it meets her body where the fur has fallen out. I just noticed this this morning should I be worried. She's isn't acting any different.

Poor Almond! I'm glad to hear that she is acting normally despite her skin lesion. Common causes of areas of hair loss include allergies (to fleas, food or the environment), ringworm or mange. While this is not an emergent condition, a vet should examine Almond and may need to perform skin scrapes or cytologies to determine the cause of her skin lesion so that it can be managed appropriately.
