My puppy licked carpet cleaner. Is it toxic? What should I do?

Zeus (my puppy) is only 4 months old. He made a mistake in the house and I used Woolite OXY carpet clean meant for pet stains and more to clean up his mess. I turned my back and he was licking it! There was some water in the bottle to dilute I believe. I'm just so worried he will get sick! I hope that a small lick or two won't kill him. Pet's info: Dog | Alaskan Malamute | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 5 days old | 20 lbs

Oh no, that was naughty of Zeus to lick up the carpet cleaner! Given that it was diluted by water and he only had a small lick, he should be fine. Because it causes hydrogen peroxide it can cause some GI upset in the form of vomiting, and I would monitor him for now. If you do see vomiting, anorexia, or lethargy, have Zeus seen by a vet immediately for a health check.
