Is expensive dog food worth it for my puppy, or are cheaper options okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Saint Bernard | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 9 days old | 55 lbs

hi, ¿is a difference between pro food (like pro plan, eukanuba, hills) or normal dog food (dog chow, pedigree, masterdog, cannes), because i buy pro food but is too expensive for me and i think that i have to reduce my expenses, my dog is a st. bernard puppy of 6 months with a size of an adult german shepherd

Great question! The difference is the ingredients. The pro food will have higher quality ingredients, more specially the protein source and the cuts used in the food. That is why it is more expensive. If you can't afford the pro food, you can try Iams. It's still a high quality food but it is not as expensive as Pro Plan, Eukanuba, and Hills :-)
