My dog has a tail lump. Should it be removed or can it stay?

Dr melanie, does it have to be withdrawn? Does it cause problems if you stay there on the tail?

It doesn't cause problems if it stays on the tail unless it becomes quite big and annoys Benji. You may have to keep having it drained, and that's why it's recommended to have it removed surgically should it keep filing up. It saves you from repeated trips to the vet to have it drained :-)
