My dog hurt his leg. Should I give him old Deramaxx from 2015?

My dog hurt his leg playing and is in pain can I give him Deramaxx 12mg that was previously prescribe in 2015

No, I would not give the Deramaxx to your dog. Since it was prescribed in 2015, it's likely expired now and is not safe to give to him. I recommend resting your dog. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toilet on a lead only, and bring him right back in when he's done. Have him seen by a vet tomorrow.

    If the Deramaxx was initially prescribed in 2015, it is likely expired at this point and I would not recommend administering any expired medications. I'm sorry to hear that your dog hurt his leg today! Try to restrict his activity to a small room or crate to prevent further injury from running, jumping and playing until you can take him to the vet for further evaluation and any necessary pain medications.
