Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 0.110321 lbs
I have two things : 1. I have a new budgie it is an albino and I do not know the gender, it is ten weeks old. It has white on the cere. 2. The budgie I was talking about, above is tame. We let it settle in and I took him/ her out. I realized that he/ she had very poor grip on my finger. I don't want to take it to the vet so please help!!! Btw my previous one died , I don't really know why and I was heart broken so this 'albino' one is my second one. so please don't let me lose him/ her.

A male albino budgie will have a flesh colored cere instead of the bluish colored cere. Females will have a brown cere. If it is perching and moving in the cage normally, I wouldn't worry. A young bird may not have the gripping strength that a mature bird may possess. However, any new bird should be examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating birds.
