My dog has a red rash in her leg crease from licking. Is it heat rash?

Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | spayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 52 lbs

My aussi has a pink to red rash slightly raise rash in the crease between her stomach and hind leg . She was licking it which made it worse. I put a cone on her to stop licking and washed it off and put hydyorcortzone on it and diarper power . I think it a heat rash how many day does that take to clear up?

I would be concerned that Daisy may have a rash from allergies or from a skin infection, but if it was a heat rash, it should clear up in a few days. You cannot use a hydrocortisone cream on a dog for more than three days, and if this rash has not cleared up in 24-48 hours, then I would have Daisy seen by a vet.
