Urinating in odd places is often a sign of stress or anxiety in cats - so from your description, I would guess that Snickers may be stressed and upset about being shooed away, which then causes her to urinate someplace inappropriate. It's also possible that she may have a medical problem causing this behavior, so if she hasn't seen a vet recently, it would be a good idea to have an exam and urinalysis done first to rule this out. If her vet check is normal, then I would recommend finding another strategy to help stop her from clawing things, rather than scolding her or shooing her away - for example, you can provide scratching posts or cat trees in the areas of the house that she tends to do this in, so that she has a more appropriate outlet for this behavior. You can also apply double-sided sticky tape to the sides of your furniture or walls where she tends to scratch - many cats don't like the way this feels on their paws, so it is often an effective deterrent. Finally, if you do need to interrupt this behavior, I would suggest tossing a treat or a toy for her rather than scolding her - this should not cause stress or anxiety, and therefore should be less likely to trigger an episode of inappropriate urination.
