Why isn't my dog pooping days after tooth extraction surgery?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 4 years and 11 months old | 16.3 lbs

fatboy had tooth extraction 8 days ago he poop when he came home and the next 2 days also then he went 36 hour then 33 hours now it been 54 hours he eating can food i addwater he not drinking much he pee 3 times today alot the last time he is active i did a few dehydrate test pinch behind neck went right paw test normal temp not cold so what u think i should do call vet didnt seem worried she said there no vomiting or diherria what u think i should do

Thank you for that information on Fatboy! If you called your vet and your vet isn't worried, then I would listen to your vet since she can see him in person and I cannot. I would still keep an eye on him, and if he continues to not poop over the next 24-48 hours, I would call your vet again or bring him in to be seen. I hope this helps!
