My dog is a fussy eater and won't eat kibble. How do I get him to eat?

Ever since I got my dog, he has always been a fussy eater. I've been hand feeding him for three years now, and he never eats his own kibble unless I feed him. He prefers eating people food. For the past two days, I made sure no one in my family feeds him table scraps, and I scheduled two meals. I'd set the food down and throw it away after 30 minutes. My dog just sniffs the food, roll it in his mouth and spits it back out. He seems perfectly healthy. How can I get him to eat?

You are doing the right thing by setting down his food and taking it away after 30 minutes. It sounds like Louie is being very fussy, and I would keep up the two scheduled meals. Continue with the no table food or treats. He will get hungry enough to eat.
