My pet is walking wobbly. Should I worry? When to see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 17 days old

I just noticed this but she has a kind of wobble in her step. Should I be worried? Do I need to see a vet?

If this continues, it could be a sign of pain or a neurologic issue, and I would recommend a visit. As long as she is eating ok and gaining weight daily, you are ok to watch her for a few days to see if this resolves on its own.

I recommend to have Connamon examined today. Wobbling walking is always worrisome as it can indicate many different conditions. Possible causes include toxin or drug ingestion, electrolyte imbalance, low blood sugar, vestibular disease, a stroke, cancer and many other causes. It’s best to play it safe and have her examined quickly. I hope she feels better quickly!
