Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 5 years old | 10 lbs

Princess got attacked by a pit bull yesterday. And today her behavior is worrying me. She has a hole just a little below her eye I'm not too sure if the dog bit her anywhere else on her face and she's just lying around kinda of moping and her breathing is irregular due to the hole.

Poor Princess! Her irregular breathing is quite concerning. There is a chance that it is a result of pain from the attack, or could be an indication that the pit bull's tooth punctured her chest cavity. Bite wounds are typically worse under the surface of the skin than they appear externally. Princess needs to see a vet immediately for an exam, possible chest x-rays due to her irregular breathing, and antibiotics and pain medication. I hope that she is feeling better soon!
